Grantville Interiors

In addition to the architectural design, SDA developed the interior design concept for the common areas and residential units for this mixed-use building with 96 units, a two-story lobby and flexible amenity space. The initial theme was ‘Manhattan Chic’ and we aimed to create an elevated design to set this project apart from other apartment buildings in the Grantville neighborhood of San Diego. Luxurious materials are layered with thoughtfully placed lighting creating an ethereal glow. Custom furniture pieces that integrate seating with plantings help create a flow through the space and makes residents feel in-touch with nature on their route to their dwelling units. A built-in counter height bar offers seating that overlooks the lobby area and windows creates a space with natural light and a floor-to-ceiling living greenwall for those who need a space for remote work. This project is currently in Building Permit phase.
