Our Mission
We create architecture of enduring value, rooted in sustainability and infused with delight, to uplift people and strengthen communities.
About Us
SDA believes that all projects, regardless of budget or scope, deserve thoughtful and well-considered design solutions. Our collaborative, studio structure ensures that all aspects of the project benefit from the direct and full professional attention of the principal architect throughout the design process. We are a people-centered practice in which clients and building users are welcomed participants.
SDA is composed of a diverse and talented team of professionals, working together to provide exceptional service to clients. We listen closely to clients and building users and take our architectural cues from those discussions; using our creativity to find appropriate solutions to meet your design needs.
Our work does not carry with it a stylistic signature. Instead, the common threads to all of our work are an understanding of place, context and climate; a commitment to efficiency and performance; an expression of optimism, delight and surprise; and a respect for budget, program and schedule. We infuse our work with light, air, views, and outdoor connections to bring extraordinary results to every unique project.
